Hoop
Deze varen staat voor mij als hoop in een moeilijke tijd. Aan elke tunnel komt er licht, hoe zwaar de situatie vaak ook is. Deze varens zijn zo ontwikkeld dat ze altijd groeien naar het licht zelfs onder moeilijke omstandigheden. Door zijn stugheid wat betreft de wortels zijn ze goed opgewassen in moeilijke omstandigheden. Vaak zie je midden in de bossen waar weinig licht is op de plekken waar vaak het licht wel doorkomt als eerste de varens verschijnen. Mooi met hun top omhoog en opgewassen tegen de vaak harde omstandigheden. Voor mij het ultieme voorbeeld van hoop in moeilijke omstandigheden. Hoe gemakkelijk het de natuur ons voordoet.

Hope.
For me, this fern stands for hope in a difficult time. There is light in every tunnel, no matter how difficult the situation often is. These ferns are developed in such a way that they always grow towards the light, even under difficult circumstances. Because of their stiff roots, they are well able to cope with difficult circumstances. Often you see in the middle of the woods where there is little light the ferns appear as the first ones. Beautiful with their tops up and able to cope with the often harsh conditions. For me this is the ultimate example of hope in difficult circumstances. How easily nature presents itself to us.
