Hongaarse Schaal: Schoenpoetsspullen
Deze derde in mijn serie van Hongaarse schalen vulde ik op een namiddag met zomaar wat attributen die ik net had gebruikt om mijn schoenen te poetsen en die me fotogeniek genoeg leken om er mijn Hongaarse schaal mee te vullen. Schoenen die toe waren aan een flinke poetsbeurt met de spullen eromheen die die mogelijk gingen maken. Afgemaakt met de borstels, schoenpoets crème en katoenen lappen vormen ze een kleurrijk geheel. Zo kan iets doodgewoons erg leuk zijn om ernaar te blijven kijken.

Friday afternoon, polishing shoes.
This was a regular habit for me in my youth. You always made sure your shoes were in order for the weekend and the week after. So the shoes were polished. With beautiful brushes, shoe polish and cloths, your shoes became as good as new and could be used again for a week. Your shoes were cleaned thoroughly and the regular ritual could begin. Rub in, wipe out and polish with a cotton cloth. A good start of the weekend.
